Chennaiyin FC founded in 2014 is an Indian Super League football franchise based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The Club is owned by Vita Dani, Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachan and Indian Cricketer Mahendra singh Dhoni. Italian World Cup-Winning defender Alexandre Guimarães is the (present) Manager/Head coach of the Team, Marco Materazzi -(previous 2015)
The home ground of the team is Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, which is located at Sydenhams Road, Park Town behind the Central suburban Railway Station and Ripon Building, Chennai-03, Tamil Nadu. the stadium has the capacity of 40,000 spectators.
